Install Vediq Companion beside eClinicalWorks on each Windows workstation. Sign in with the Microsoft account your Vediq invitation was sent to.

Before you start
  • eClinicalWorks and its desktop plugin are installed and you can sign in to eCW.
  • The Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is installed. Most Windows computers already have it.
Install
  1. Close eCW.
  2. Open VediqSetup.exe as your normal Windows user, then click Install.
  3. Open Vediq eCW from your desktop or Start menu. It opens eCW with Vediq beside it.
  4. Sign in to Vediq with the Microsoft account your invitation was sent to.
If something's wrong
  • If Windows says it doesn't recognise the app and you downloaded it from this page, choose More info, then Run anyway.
  • With eCW open, choose Start › Vediq › Check Vediq installation.
  • To update, download again and run setup. To remove, use Windows Settings › Apps › Installed apps › Vediq eCW Launcher.
